Terms of Use

Terms and conditions for using Voice of AP services.

Last updated: 29 August 2026

By using VoiceofAP.com and related Voice of AP websites, mobile/PWA services, community features, citizen submissions, jobs, creator tools, newsletters, alerts and other digital services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

If these Terms are not acceptable to you, do not use Voice of AP services.

1. About Voice of AP

Voice of AP is a digital news and community platform for Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Telugu people, offering news, local information, public problems, jobs, education, technology, entertainment, videos and other useful information. People may also submit information, videos, photos and problems from their area.

2. Who these Terms apply to

These Terms apply to VoiceofAP.com visitors, registered users, citizen contributors, creators, influencers, employers, job seekers, advertisers, community members, franchise users, reporters and other authorised users.

3. Use of the website

Use Voice of AP only for lawful purposes. Do not engage in illegal activity, attempt to hack systems, send malware, disrupt the service with bots, scrape without authorisation, access other users’ accounts or bypass security. We may apply access restrictions for security.

4. Account registration

Some features may require an account. Information you provide should be accurate so far as reasonably possible. Keeping login credentials confidential is your responsibility. Notify Voice of AP promptly if you notice unauthorised account use.

5. Age requirements

General news content may be available to everyone. Age or guardian requirements may apply to citizen submissions, accounts, job applications, creator registration or commercial services. Special privacy and editorial safeguards may apply to information or content about minors.

6. News content

We try to make news accurate and useful. In breaking or rapidly developing events, information may change — we may update, correct, change a headline, expand or remove content. Readers should check the latest version.

7. News is not professional advice

General information on Voice of AP is not legal, medical, financial, investment, tax or immigration advice. Before important decisions, consult a qualified professional or the relevant official authority.

8. Citizen news submissions

Users may submit local news, videos, photographs, audio, documents, complaints, public issues and eyewitness information. Submission does not guarantee publication. Voice of AP may verify, edit, reject, hold, archive or publish a submission.

9. Your responsibility for content you submit

  • Information should be true to the best of your knowledge
  • You must have the rights/permission needed to submit it
  • Do not unnecessarily violate others’ privacy or copyright
  • Do not submit fake, manipulated or intentionally misleading content

10. Permission for Voice of AP to use content

Based on your consent and applicable terms, Voice of AP may use submitted content in a website article, social-media post, YouTube video, short video, explainer, newsletter or related editorial format. We may crop, resize, edit, translate, subtitle, blur, summarise or format content, but must not deliberately distort the original meaning.

11. Credit and anonymous submissions

Where possible at submission you may choose: show my name; show only my creator/social handle; or stay anonymous. Voice of AP may retain private contact information for verification even when public attribution is anonymous.

12. Editorial control

Final editorial control over what is published, how it is displayed and how long it remains rests with Voice of AP. Submitting content does not create a right to publication.

13. Content removal

We may remove, hide or restrict content, especially if we consider it false, defamatory, illegal, dangerous, privacy-violating, copyright-infringing, abusive, spam, manipulated or misleading.

14. Community behaviour

Community areas, comments, polls and submissions are subject to the Community Rules. Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, dox, abuse or scam others. Users who repeatedly violate the rules may be restricted or banned.

15. Political content

Voice of AP may publish political news, discussions, public opinion and election-related content. Users may express political opinions. False election information, fabricated quotes, fake candidate statements, impersonation, threats and communal incitement are not allowed. Do not deliberately present opinion as fact.

16. AI use

We may use AI or automation for news discovery, categorisation, translation, summarisation, transcription, duplicate detection, video-creation assistance and moderation assistance. See the AI Usage Policy. Because AI-assisted information can contain errors, editorial controls may apply.

17. Automatically published content

Some low-risk information from trusted or official sources may publish through automation. An administrator or editor may Edit, Correct, Hide, Unpublish or Archive that content. Automatic publication does not remove Voice of AP’s source-verification or correction responsibilities.

18. Third-party news sources

We may discover news via external sources, official websites, APIs, RSS feeds or licensed agencies. We aim to respect other publishers’ copyright. Source attribution, linking, licensing and permitted-use rules apply.

19. External links

Articles may link to government portals, job portals, YouTube, social media, immigration websites and advertiser sites. Voice of AP does not control third-party sites; their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

20. Jobs & careers

The jobs section may show government jobs, private jobs, local jobs, internships and apprenticeships. For external listings, the application process may sit with the original employer or official portal. Voice of AP does not guarantee every employer or job. Verify independently before paying for recruitment.

21. Local job marketplace

Employers may be able to post local vacancies. Employer information must be accurate. We may reject or remove misleading, fraudulent ads or ads that improperly ask candidates for payment.

22. Creators & influencers

Local creators may submit videos or content. Creator content must follow applicable laws, disclose sponsorships, respect copyright and avoid misleading claims. Voice of AP is not obliged to publish every creator submission.

23. Advertising

Voice of AP may earn revenue through advertisements, sponsored content and commercial partnerships. Paid content must be appropriately labelled. See the Advertising Policy. Buying an advertisement does not guarantee favourable editorial coverage.

24. Sponsored content

Sponsored articles or videos must carry appropriate disclosure and must not be deliberately disguised as independent editorial reporting.

25. Intellectual property

The Voice of AP logo, brand identity, original articles, graphics, videos, website design, software and databases may be protected by intellectual-property laws. Do not commercially reproduce, republish or redistribute substantial Voice of AP content without written permission, except as permitted by law.

26. Sharing Voice of AP stories

Readers may share articles on social media or messaging platforms. Please keep the original Voice of AP link. Do not copy-paste a full article onto another website without permission.

27. User copyright complaints

If you believe your copyrighted material is used on Voice of AP without permission, you may send a takedown/copyright request including a description of the work, the infringing URL, ownership/authorisation details and contact information (legal@voiceofap.com).

28. Trademarks

Do not use the Voice of AP name, logo or branding for unauthorised commercial endorsement or impersonation.

29. Polls

Polls may exist for public-opinion engagement. Do not treat results as a scientific survey unless the methodology explicitly says so. Do not alter results with bots, fake accounts or repeated manipulation.

30. Comments

Where comments are enabled, user-generated comments are not Voice of AP editorial opinion. We may moderate, hide or remove comments.

31. Privacy

How we collect and use personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy. Using Voice of AP services means you should also read that policy.

32. Cookies

We may use cookies for functionality, preferences, analytics or advertising. Where applicable, you should be able to manage cookie preferences.

33. Security

Attempts to damage, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the website are prohibited. Security testing may require prior written permission.

34. Service availability

We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted or error-free. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, outages, security incidents or technical failures.

35. Accuracy disclaimer

We try to take reasonable editorial care. We cannot give an absolute guarantee that all information is fully accurate, complete or current at every moment. If you see an error, please send a correction request.

36. Corrections

When a factual mistake is identified, Voice of AP may update an article, add a correction note, clarify or withdraw content. A separate Corrections Policy may also apply.

37. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Voice of AP is not automatically liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from independent decisions based on website information. This clause is not intended to exclude responsibilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

38. User indemnity

If you knowingly submit illegal content, copyright-infringing material, defamatory false allegations or fraudulent information and that causes claims or costs to Voice of AP, you may be responsible under applicable law and circumstances. This provision should receive legal review before launch.

39. Account suspension

We may suspend or terminate an account if a user repeatedly violates policies, commits fraud, sends threats, impersonates others, publishes scams, abuses systems or attempts unauthorised access. Serious violations may lead to immediate suspension.

40. Franchise users

District franchise users may be subject to a separate commercial/franchise agreement. These website Terms alone do not replace that agreement. Franchise users must follow central Voice of AP editorial standards, branding rules, community rules, advertising rules and security controls. Central Voice of AP may override or remove policy-violating content.

41. Changes to services

Voice of AP may add, change, suspend or discontinue features as needed.

42. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when technology, operations, laws or business requirements change. The updated version will be published on this page and the Last Updated date will change.

43. Applicable law

After the legal entity is established, final wording for this section should be confirmed by an Indian media lawyer. Recommended structure: These Terms are subject to the laws of India. Disputes will be handled under applicable law and the agreed jurisdiction.

44. Dispute resolution

Try to resolve disputes first through the grievance/contact process. Formal legal remedies remain available under applicable law where needed. Final jurisdiction and arbitration wording should be populated by a lawyer once the registered entity and location are decided.
